daily / foreign language

I just performed the amazing feat of grokking a word in a foreign language. The word was "meow!" and I correctly deduced this meant:

"Open the wardrobe door.  Lift me.  Let me jump into the wardrobe. Thank you, servant."

For completeness sake, I suppose I should mention that when I got back from LWE in Sydney, another part of my bicycle was missing (presumed stolen). Specifically, the clip that keeps the saddle connected safely and securely to the frame.

All this time, a bike that I can only assume was dumped here by a spooked thief, has been sitting in front of out front door unlocked and untouched.

ClampIs it just me, or would stealing an entire bike be more useful than just removing a $4 part?

Maybe I should become paranoid, because the thieves are clearly out to annoy me specifically.

"Jeff is a naughty boy."

On the other hand, the conference is going great and the associated tradeshow is cool :-)

Some ******* **** has stolen the front wheel off my bicycle. A few weeks ago the saddle got stolen. If they'd just take the whole bike, I could at least claim a new one from insurance!
